I’m always amused when my 5-yr-old sings songs he’s heard….what amazes me is the ability of a child’s mind to “fill in” when they don’t know (or remember) the words – it’s like their little mind searches it’s databanks for a similar word that they DO know to take the place of what they don’t!

And of course, I did the same thing…….I remember wondering what exactly “oree and tar” were, that “We Three Kings” were apparently made of.
