She’s genuine in her faith and she takes the commission to preach the good news to the poor very seriously – taking homeless orphans into her home and discipling them giving them a hope and a future.

She is very prophetic (and sometimes can come across as a bit ‘out there’) – but one teaching I heard from her (which I’ll never forget) was about chosing to be a shrivelled up grape (because of ministering out of a point of striving) or being fruitful because of abiding in Him. I know which I’d prefer.

She and her husband have planted thousands of small churches – but more importantly have brought a living faith to those in need – primarily in Mosambique.

I am sure there are criticisms of her. She’s not mainsteam and has little time for the politics of institutional church (which won’t win her brownie points) but she’s committed to Jesus. That’s what really counts.
