Dan,

There's a saying which I assume to be British: 'Flattery will get you nowhere'! :)

Seriously, even if I thought I were podcast material, I don't have the facilities. None of my churches even records to CD, only to cassette, so it would be a long process even with a program like Audacity to turn it into a podcast. I quite like the idea of sermon podcasts - it would save the labour of putting a text version of a sermon on the site (although bandwidth might be an issue). However, the only reason my churches record the services is generally for elderly housebound people who may well not have a CD player, only a cassette.

Dave,
When are you going to do a podcast? It's the only way this American will probably ever get to see or hear you preach! Have you done one and I just didn't know about it?

Update: have subscribed to the Sermon Brainwave podcast at Working Preacher, having listened to this week's episode. I didn't know about Working Preacher: it's a good complement to sites like Text Week.

Thanks again, Will.

In the News/Humour side, BBC 4 Friday Night Comedy and the Times Online's The Bulgle are great.

For the lectionary/sermon prep, WorkingPreacher.org have a short roundtable discussion on the week's passages.

If you need more, I can tip you some others, but that should be enough to get started!
